West Cork 2021

A murmuration of starlings in fog. I wasn’t very hopeful when I made it to Timoleague in West cork to photograph these Starlings. I could see maybe just 50-100ms with dense fog all around, I stood in my normal spot and whilst I couldn’t see anything, I could hear the starlings coming toward me and pointed the camera upwards and managed to capture a couple of images before they disappeared again…I drove home and didn’t look at the files for some time….I am glad I did in the end though as the files were very unique with the varying tones to the starlings.
